Q. Why do you prefer an automatic monthly, recurring gift?
Automatic recurring gifts save our small staff a great amount of administrative time. This allows us more time to focus on our mission: saving lives. Recurring gifts also give us a steady stream of income. Since EVERYTHING we do is dependent on the gifts of Friends like you, this allows us to budget and allocate our resources more effectively, thus saving even more lives.
Q. Once I've joined Friends for Life and established my monthly giving level, how can I make changes to my account (i.e. change amount, change my credit card number, or stop giving)?
Making changes is very easy. All you need to do is call us at (414) 778-5780 or (877) 855-5007, or email us at FriendsForLife@wrtl.org. Changes will take place the same month or the following month, depending on when you contact us.
Q. Do I need to renew my Friends for Life membership every year?
Each January you will receive a letter asking if you would like to make any changes to your Friends for Life membership. If you wish to remain a Friend for Life at your same giving level there’s nothing you need to do! You’ll continue to be our Friend for Life.
Q. Will I receive verification of my donations for tax purposes?
Friends for Life is a 501(c)4 organization and, therefore, donations are not tax-deductible. A record of your gifts will be provided upon request.
Q. When will my credit card or bank account first be charged?
Monthly charges occur once per month. Your first online charge will be charged to your card on the date that your transaction is made. All subsequent charges will occur on or around the 15th of each month.
Q. What if I don't feel comfortable submitting my credit card or bank information online?
No problem. Simply give us a call and we can set you up in our system over the phone at 414-778-5780 or 877-855-5007. We can assure you, though, that your transaction is completely secure.
Q. What if I want to give a monthly amount other than what is available on this website?
That’s no problem! Please call (414) 778-5780 or (877) 855-5007 to set up a different monthly amount. The minimum monthly gift to be a Friend for Life is $5.
Q. What if I’d like to pay each month via my checking account?
When you click to sign up, you will be presented with two payment options, Credit Card or Direct Debit. For automatic monthly checking account withdrawals, simply select Direct Debit and enter in your routing number and account number. If you have any difficulties, give us a call and we can help you over the phone. Please call (414) 778-5780 or (877) 855-5007.
Q. Can I become a Friend for Life with a one-time payment?
While we’d love your monthly, recurring gift we realize this might not be the best option for some. We are happy to receive your one-time gift. Friends for Life memberships are available beginning at $50 annually.
Q. What happened to the Rose Society?
Friends for Life has replaced the Rose Society; all Rose Society members are now grandfathered in to the Friends for Life membership. We are thankful for all of our Rose Society members for their years of dedication.

In addition to partnering with Wisconsin’s pro-life leader, you will receive:
